Job description
Elevate your accounting career with Tree of Life Canada ULC as a Senior Corporate Accountant. Lead best-in-class processes for financial reporting while ensuring compliance and supporting food safety initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Finance, and oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the organization. Your responsibilities will include establishing period-end close processes, liaising with external auditors, and supporting the Finance team with reports and presentations. A strong technical accounting background will drive success as you monitor accounting standards and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead period-end close process and financial statement preparation • Collaborate with FP&A and Costing Team on inventory reporting • Maintain Finance Policies and Procedures Manual • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors • Ensure compliance with HST and statutory filings

Requirements: • CPA designation and a business degree • Minimum three years of progressive finance experience • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA preferred • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to meet tight deadlines with professionalism
