Who We Are The Project Management Services unit provides a range of services that support Health and Social Services in planning and implementing IT‑related projects, including the Home Health Monitoring program for remote patient monitoring in Yukon.
Your Role As a Project Manager in the Project Management Services team, you will lead the project team, ensuring that project deliverables meet business requirements, technical performance, cost, and schedule specifications. You will manage medium to large‑scale acute‑care, long‑term care, and community health projects, coordinating feasibility, approval, design, development, testing, implementation, and post‑implementation review phases.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, project management, computer science, or a related field
Considerable experience supporting the delivery and implementation of complex healthcare projects
Experience using electronic project‑management systems such as Asana, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner)
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability
Strong oral and written communication skills, including project status reporting and presentations
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to engage multiple and diverse stakeholders
Ability to define project goals, work plans, timelines and deliverables to integrate projects early
Proactive management of changes in project scope, risk identification and contingency planning
Strong change‑management, facilitation, negotiation and problem‑solving skills
Ability to foster collaborative and effective working relationships
Job Requirements
Ability to travel periodically within and outside the Territory
