Job description
Join a passionate team as a Primary Care Physician for Sagkeeng First Nation, focusing on health equity and community engagement. This part-time role offers a dynamic practice environment. The Sagkeeng First Nation is in search of a culturally competent primary care physician working part-time (2-3 days weekly). Your role will encompass not only primary care but also chronic disease management and geriatric support. We value collaboration and community involvement, making this position essential to local health initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Offer diverse primary healthcare services • Address chronic and geriatric health needs • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team • Engage with the community to promote health • Advocate for trauma-informed care Requirements: • Background in family medicine required • Commitment to anti-racism in health practices • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse patients • Understanding of geriatric and chronic care • Must be available part-time, 2-3 days a week Lead transformative healthcare for Sagkeeng community by embodying compassion and commitment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
