The Role Are you ready to advance your estimating career? We’re seeking a Senior Estimator who excels in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments and thrives on solving complex challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to major industrial projects while growing within a supportive and well‑established team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Dive into specifications for large hard‑bid/lump‑sum and construction management projects, ensuring complete accuracy.
Lead strategies and execution plans for securing new work.
Evaluate trade contractor pricing to support competitive and profitable bids.
Attend pre‑tender meetings to obtain clarity and confidence before bid submission.
Advise on construction procedures and methods to support precise estimating.
Take full ownership of medium‑to‑large estimates or key components of major projects.
Develop critical path schedules to support timelines and milestone tracking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and trade contractors.
Maintain an up‑to‑date trade contractor database for pricing accuracy and efficiency.
Identify risks, opportunities, and critical factors related to project documents and market conditions.
Who You Are You bring:
10+ years of experience in a similar estimating role.
Industrial site experience—Pipefitter‑related environments are essential.
A post‑secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline or a relevant trade certification (preferred).
Strong knowledge of Union Agreements across multiple trades.
Advanced blueprint reading skills and a solid grasp of contract documentation.
