Job description
The Town of Esterhazy is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a permanent full-time role. Support financial operations and ensure accurate records in this union position.

This is an exciting opportunity at the Town Office where you will handle accounts payable/receivable, utility billing, and reconciliations. You will provide responsive service to staff, vendors, and residents, ensuring compliance with all town policies. Your role includes processing invoices, maintaining organized records, and assisting with various financial reports and audits.

Key Responsibilities: • Process invoices and receipts for accurate financial records • Balance daily receipts and prepare deposits efficiently • Enter data and post to the general ledger • Assist with audits, grants, and special projects • Maintain secure filing systems for financial documents

Requirements: • Grade 12 or GED; Office Administration Certificate preferred • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver's licence with a clean abstract • RCMP security clearance and vulnerable sector check • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong accuracy and communication skills
