Job description
Lead financial integrity at UPP as the Director of Pension Financial Transactions in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on managing pension fund transactions and ensuring compliance with fiduciary obligations. As a strategic director reporting to Specialized Operations, you will oversee crucial financial activities within Pension Services, including contribution remittances and benefit payments. In this position, expectations include maintaining compliance with regulations and ensuring accurate monetary transactions throughout the member lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and execute contribution remittances and benefit payments • Ensure timely and accurate pension benefit payments • Design efficient transaction processes within Pension Services • Maintain compliance with plan rules and fiduciary obligations • Resolve payment escalations effectively Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required, postgraduate preferred • 10-12 years experience in pension administration or financial operations • Strong understanding of Canadian pension regulations • Proven leadership in financial transaction processes • Excellent analytical and communication skills Drive accuracy, compliance, and trust in UPP's pension transactions by leading an effective financial operations team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
