Job description
Join Horizon Contracting Group as a Senior Accountant and support vital financial operations. Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate financial reporting and ensure operational growth.

In this full-time role, you will work closely with the VP of Finance and Intermediate Controller. Utilize your 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience while engaging in key tasks like month-end processes, maintaining general ledger accuracy, and supporting payroll coverage. Your analytical skills will shine as you manage reconciliations and improve accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities: • Support monthly and quarterly close processes • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger • Assist with payroll backup and reconciliations • Manage fleet and equipment records in ERP • Review invoices for capital vs. expense treatment

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA designation or in progress preferred • 3–5 years of accounting experience in related industries • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables • Strong understanding of ASPE and GAAP
