Job descriptionJob Purpose The purpose of this role is to assist in the creation, maintenance, consultation of Sony Music Publishing (SMP) Cloud environment and applications.
What You’ll Do
Maintain the Cloud (AWS) environment, support, and operations.
Assist in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
Design, develop, deploy, and configure modular cloud-based systems that are highly available, scalable, and secure.
Create and update support documentation and standards.
Develop automated methodologies for deployment activities, configuration management, supporting systems, and business processes that are secure.
Work in an agile environment, planning features and prioritizing changes based on team goals, product usage, and feedback.
Accountable for accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively.
Communicate with leaders, stakeholders, and users on process changes and proposals for future improvements.
Define and document the best practices and strategies regarding deployment and maintenance of infrastructure and applications.
Provide guidance, through leadership, and mentorship to Cloud, Development, and Business teams to build their cloud competencies.
Proactively and/or based on report logs, identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Manage cloud environments in accordance with company policy, standards, and best practice.
Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.

Manage Database Infrastructure
Who You Are Basic Qualifications
AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional
2+ years experience with DMS
5+ years specializing in AWS Cloud Services Operations
Experience with Cloud Networking, Cloud WAN
4+ years experience with AWS Serverless
Experience working with Application and Development teams.
3+ years experience with deploying using CICD, Gitlab and CloudFormation
3+ years scripting in languages such as Bash and Python
5+ years experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure fulfillment tasks
Strong diagnostic capabilities
Strong communication skills, able to communicate solutions and issues to both IT and non-IT
Self-driven to independently take projects from concept to architecture / design to implementation.
Strong experience with IT Systems administration
Proven leader who motivates, inspires, and teaches others.
High level of accountability; willing to take ownership and solve problems.
7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume frequently require extended working hours for evening and late-night events

This role is for an existing vacancy. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses help, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus plan, which is based on company performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical (vision care) and dental benefits, life insurance, paid disability leave, defined contribution pension plan with company matching, vacation time, tuition reimbursement, paid sick leave time annually.
