Job description
Receptionist/Office Administrator As the Receptionist/Office Administrator, you will be friendly and outgoing, with great attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills. You will demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, be polite, confident and excel at time management. You will have the wonderful opportunity to create a memorable first impression for our current and future clients.

Essential Functions

Welcome every caller or visitor with a polite, clear, and concise greeting. Ascertain their needs and connect them with the requested person(s).

Efficiently prioritize desk tasks with phone calls, client visits, scanning, email, and mail/courier.

Order and stock office supplies and kitchen supplies.

Accept payments from clients.

Complete weekly deposits.

Attach documents to clients’ accounts.

Assist departments with administrative work (e.g., preparing liability cards or labels).

General Insurance License preferred or willingness to work toward while participating in other learning/training programs.

Exhibit the core values of the Wedgwood team.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience & Traits

Office Administration Program would be an asset.

Experience in an office environment is preferred.

Basic accounting knowledge.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products.

Willingness to embrace change in a fast‑paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Pickup on new concepts quickly and can apply knowledge to offer solutions to problems.

Enjoys the feeling of an environment where you are part of a family and not an employee.

Ability to identify challenges and other solutions.

Salary
