University Co-Op in Project Estimation

Hydro One is looking for a dedicated co-op student for a 12-month opportunity in Project Estimating, commencing in Fall 2026. Students pursuing Electrical or Civil Engineering at the second or third-year level will gain valuable insights into project execution and planning. Your involvement will include supporting project estimators and preparing vital project documents and analyses.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in creating project estimates and monitoring phases • Coordinate with various stakeholders and providers • Draft detailed reports and presentations on estimates • Perform data analysis for benchmarks and evaluations • Collaborate on Basis of Estimate development

Requirements: • Major in Electrical or Civil Engineering necessary • Expected to have completed second or third year of study • Knowledge of MS Excel mandatory • Hold a G-Class driver’s license • Strong focus on effective communication and teamwork
