Job description

The City of Victoria is seeking a Bylaw Administrator to manage public inquiries and oversee Short-Term Rental business licence applications. This role involves detailed ticket processing, administrative duties related to disputes, and the development of procedural documentation. Successful candidates will engage with various stakeholders and provide essential guidance to City staff while ensuring compliance in bylaw administration.

Key Responsibilities: • Address public requests regarding bylaws and licenses • Oversee Short-Term Rental licence application process • Input accurate information into administrative systems • Manage disputes and coordinate pre-trial court hearings • Assist in compiling inspection files and related documents

Requirements: • High school graduation and Office Administration training • 3 years of related experience or equivalent • Proficient typing speed and software operation • Ability to deal with public inquiries effectively • Obtain criminal record clearance as required
