Title: SMB Associate, Promo Operations – 31709

Location: Onsite Montreal, QC (1275 Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montreal)

Classification: T4 under Staffing Supplier – 40 hours per week

Contract Duration: June 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026

Compensation: CAD$44.60/hour

Position Overview

A high-velocity marketing and ads operations team seeks a detail-oriented, bilingual analyst to manage and optimize promotional and advertising campaigns for small and mid-sized Canadian restaurant partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a bilingual environment, is skilled at campaign setup and QA, and brings technical proficiency with data tools to ensure best-in-class ad performance for merchants in both English and French markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and quality-assure digital promotional and advertising campaigns for Canadian SMBs, ensuring all inputs are complete and compliant.
  • Migrate SMB workflows to a new campaign management software and manage campaign data entry/migration projects, maintaining data integrity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Pre-Sales, Account Management, and Analytics teams to launch and optimize campaigns.
  • Communicate and clarify campaign requirements, resolving issues with French- and English-speaking merchants and internal partners via email, Slack, or documentation.
  • Monitor live campaigns for performance, quickly correcting defects, pacing, targeting, and creative issues to protect merchant experience.
  • Leverage SQL, Sigma, or other dashboard tools to validate campaign setups, track outcomes, and surface performance trends.
  • Document campaign status and progress transparently via Slack, Salesforce, and reporting channels.
  • Contribute to process improvements that boost campaign accuracy and operational efficiency.


Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of ad operations, digital advertising, data entry/audit, or related operational experience; experience in Canadian tech or marketplace sectors is a plus.
  • Fluent in French and full proficiency in English; outstanding verbal and written communication in both languages.
  • Currently residing in Canada, with a strong grasp of Canadian merchant and consumer contexts, especially in Quebec/French-speaking regions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; proven ability to manage high-volume campaign builds with strong quality control.
  • Comfortable using SQL, Sigma, Google Sheets (or similar data/reporting tools); able to write or edit queries for data validation and decision support.
  • Clear and concise communicator; able to explain operational constraints and updates simply in both FR and EN.
  • Autonomous and proactive; skilled at owning workstreams, knowing when to escalate, and following issues to resolution.
  • Willing and quick to adopt new tools and campaign management platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with self-serve or full-serve SMB ad platforms (Google, Meta, DSPs, or retail media).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and/or campaign ticketing workflows.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to automate routine tasks.
