Job description
Our client, a food manufacturing plant located near Leamington, needs a Bookkeeper with office Management Experience. You will be the anchor for a small team and support, train and mentor with empathy. Our client is family owned and operated and is proud of the amazing tenure of the staff. What you’re doing:
  • Manage a team of 3, responsible for the accounting and inventory of the warehouse.
  • Calculating duties and freight.
  • Accounts payable, Receivable, invoicing and payroll.
  • Yearly, monthly remittances and all reconciliations.
  • Manage employee benefits.
  • Help support the warehouse, shipping and receiving to track inventory, ordering and make sure the shipments are scheduled.
  • Help coordinate the Health and Safety with the plant supervisors.
Who you Are:
  • 5 plus years Bookkeeping and Administration.
  • Some leadership skills, if you have ever been described as the office go to person this job likely for you.
  • Experience working in payroll, HR or similar environment.
  • You like to help and pride yourself on your attention to detail.
  • Experience with Food manufacturing HCAAP and protocols.
  • This position will have 13 weeks of overtime, 8 of those weeks will be 7 days a week and so you must be flexible.
