Job description
Enhance your community service skills by joining Burlington Public Library as a Customer Experience Page. This part-time position requires sorting, shelving, and assisting library visitors.

As part of the Customer Experience team, you will report to management while ensuring library materials are organized and accessible. Engaging with customers and maintaining a tidy environment are critical aspects of your role. This position allows for 8-16 hours of part-time work each week, ideal for community-minded individuals.

Key Responsibilities: • Sort library items and shelve them appropriately • Maintain cleanliness and organization of library spaces • Offer directional support to library customers • Handle materials processing and related tasks • Collaborate on additional assignments from management

Requirements: • Completion of Grade 8 education • Customer-focused approach in interactions • Detail-oriented with a knack for organization • Capability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods • Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts
