Job description
Step into an Expert Fisheries Biologist role at McElhanney, focusing on sustainable fish habitats and community development across Western Canada.

In this influential role, you'll conduct environmental studies, support project planning, and implement conservation strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Lead environmental assessments from design through reporting • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and planning • Supervise habitat restoration and mitigation strategies • Mentor junior staff throughout project development • Contribute to business development and proposal efforts

Requirements: • Minimum 8 years of experience in fisheries and habitat restoration • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related discipline • RPBio registration or eligibility within 6 months • Strong communication skills and report writing • Experience working with various stakeholders and agencies
