Senior Project Manager to lead the successful planning and delivery of capital and closure projects from initiation through completion for our client in Kitimat, BC. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record managing large-scale industrial projects. In this position you will work a
Monday to Friday schedule and play a key role in delivering projects safely, on budget, and on schedule. Ideal for independent contractors.
- Pay Rate: IC:$ 95.00/hour

Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end project execution aligned with approved scope, budget, and timelines
- Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and key metrics
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and consultants
- Support project teams with technical guidance and decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure successful delivery
- Resolve project challenges and delivery issues proactively
- Support vendor/consultant sourcing and contract management
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies
Qualifications and Skills: - Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) in British Columbia (EITs with strong experience considered)
- 15+ years of experience in construction or industrial environments
- Proven experience managing $20M+ multi-discipline projects
- Strong background in capital brownfield projects (concept to close-out)
- Solid understanding of project controls, reporting, and risk management
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and site leadership experience
- PMP or formal project management training is an asset
- Familiarity with client project management frameworks is advantageous
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
