Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities related to both process equipment and facility infrastructure. This role ensures optimal equipment reliability, efficient operations, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position supervises a team of maintenance technicians and manages external service providers to support operational continuity.
Your Tasks Maintenance Management (Process Equipment)
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs in accordance with OEM requirements
Monitor and report maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTTF, downtime, FMEA tracking)
Coordinate maintenance activities with Production to minimize disruption
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns
Plan and execute major repairs and shutdowns
Facilities Management
Oversee maintenance and upkeep of building systems (HVAC, utilities, structural elements)
Establish and manage a facilities services program (soft and hard services)
Coordinate and supervise external contractors for facility‑related work
Ensure facility compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Team Leadership
Supervise and support a team of mechanics and electricians
Assign work, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of tasks
Provide coaching, training, and performance management
Promote a strong safety culture within the team
Contract & Vendor Management
Manage and negotiate maintenance and facilities service contracts
Oversee contractor performance for both preventative and reactive services
Ensure cost‑effective procurement of maintenance services and materials
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Support audits and ensure proper documentation and record keepingEnforce safe work practices and procedures

Requirements
Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Previous supervisory or leadership experience
Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and CMMS
Experience managing contractors and service agreements
We offer In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, we are committed to providing clear and accessible information about compensation for this role. The expected compensation range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job‑related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations. This role offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including paid vacation, group health benefits, pension plan, bonus, and additional employee programs.
