Summary of Responsibilities The
Supply & Demand Analyst
drives end-to-end supply chain performance within an SAP S/4HANA environment by turning data into actionable insights. This role anticipates demand trends, plans product lifecycles, and executes inventory and procurement strategies through IBP to ensure optimal stock levels, timely availability, and seamless operations. Collaborating across functions, the analyst supports data-driven decisions, monitors performance, and helps the business respond quickly to market and operational changes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Drive demand forecasting and product lifecycle planning: Use system data to anticipate demand trends, plan launches, manage phase-outs, and identify substitution opportunities.
Optimize inventory and procurement through IBP: Convert demand forecasts into actionable purchase orders and inventory strategies to maintain balance between stock availability and efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally using a single source of truth: Partner with stakeholders using shared system data to support aligned data-driven planning decisions.
Manage supplier performance and proactively resolve exceptions: Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, backorder, and invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
Track KPIs and generate actionable insights using embedded analytics: Use real-time dashboards to monitor performance, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
Develop ad-hoc reports and enhance data visibility: Create reports and insights using S/4HANA tools to improve supply chain visibility and decision-making.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
Degree/Diploma: Bachelor's degree
Program of Study: Business, Supply Chain or a related field (Supply Chain certifications an asset)
Years of Experience: 3+ years in supply chain analysis, with experience in procurement, inventory management, or demand planning
Type of Experience: Manufacturing, Wholesale or Retail
Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven proficiency in Excel (including advanced functions and pivot modeling), data visualization platforms such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud, and working knowledge of SQL for querying large datasets. Experience integrating analytics within ERP systems like SAP is highly valued. Effective in driving collaboration and achieving results through clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
Salary Range 70,000 - 75,000 per annum. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Our total rewards approach is designed to provide competitive compensation with a focus on employee experience.
