Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Security Site Supervisor in Ajax, Ontario. Job Title: Security Site Supervisor Location: Ajax, ON Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 - 24.00 per hour Shifts: Monday - Friday

Shift Timing: 0800-1600

Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Security Site Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic environment. As a Security Site Supervisor you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through patrols, monitoring, and incident response. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and act as primary liaison between client and management, ensuring compliance with all procedures and post orders.
• Lead, coach, and support security staff, including scheduling, training, and on‑floor guidance.
• Enforce access control protocols, including screening staff, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct and oversee patrols to identify risks, hazards, and suspicious activity.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and address security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing direction to staff and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
• Assess situations, make real‑time decisions, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Deter theft and loss through proactive supervision and enforcement of security procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports and ensure accurate documentation and log maintenance.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• First Aid and CPR.
• 1–2 years of experience working in security.
• 5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor, managing minimum 10 employees.
• Preferably ex‑military or loss prevention to high‑theft locations.
• Previous experience in logistics environments and/or operating metal detectors preferred.
• Experience in critical environments where decision making and actions can impact life‑safety and business continuity.
• Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
