Job Summary As part of the Global Legal Operations and Strategic Services (GLOSS) team, the Analyst – Contracting Data & Operations (CLM) supports the technology, data, and process foundations that enable Equinix Legal to operate at scale. This role partners closely with Legal, the Digital & Innovation Office (DIO), Data & Analytics, and external providers to support enterprise Legal Technology systems—most notably Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)—from design and deployment through adoption and continuous improvement. The Analyst plays a hands‑on role in maintaining trusted contracting data, supporting Legal Technology initiatives, documenting standard processes, and identifying opportunities for automation, including the use of artificial intelligence. This position requires strong collaboration, analytical thinking, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, global environment.
Responsibilities Legal Technology & System Support
Support contracting platforms, diagnosing system issues and partnering with DIO for timely resolution.
Configure and maintain user roles, permissions, and security settings across Legal systems.
Support system implementations, enhancements, deployments, and user acceptance testing.
Data, Records & Content Management
Maintain and administer contracting data, records, templates, and system content within CLM and related tools.
Partner with Legal subject matter experts to manage template standards, approvals, and updates.
Support compliance with data and records governance policies and controls.
Process, Documentation & Improvement
Create, maintain, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and system documentation.
Document current‑state and future‑state business processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
Support process automation initiatives, including AI‑enabled capabilities where appropriate.
Business Analysis, Reporting & Adoption
Gather and analyze business requirements; collaborate with DIO, business partners, and vendors to recommend practical solutions.
Produce metrics and routine reports measuring adoption, usage, and process effectiveness.
Partner with Data & Analytics teams to define reporting needs and develop actionable insights.
Support training materials and adoption strategies to increase awareness and effective use of Legal tools.
Apply analytical and problem‑solving skills to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Proven years of experience in a Legal Operations, Legal Technology, IT, or related business systems role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience supporting business systems or technology platforms in an enterprise environment.
Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and analyze business or system requirements.
Experience documenting processes, procedures, and workflows in a clear and structured manner.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support concurrent initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders, Legal teams, IT teams, or cross‑functional partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable outcomes.
Proficiency with common enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and collaboration or work management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
Pay Range – United States (Dallas Infomart Office): 70,000 – 105,000 USD per year. Canada (Toronto Office): 66,000 – 98,000 CAD per year. Base pay only; bonus, equity, and benefits are additional and may vary.
