Job description
Muhammad's family in Markham, Ontario is seeking a compassionate elder care provider to join their household. The position is full-time and can be either live-in or live-out, depending on the candidate's preference. The primary responsibilities will include providing companionship, home care, respite, and personal care for our beloved elderly family member. CPR certification is required for this role. The ideal candidate should possess a kind and patient demeanor, and must have previous experience in elder care. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of seniors. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00, and the family is open to discussing additional benefits for the right candidate. Background I am French (from the south of France) and I am accustomed to certain necessities 1.Cleanliness 2.Organize surroundings 3.Though my meals are very simple now, I am accustomed to a particular style of food and characteristics. Accordingly, please contain the recommendations to individuals from: a.Philippines – I will say this first so I don’t spook you. I have had lot of experience with various individuals in multiple capacities and I accept and like the culture. b.Western Europe – Except Germans c.North America – Must be 2nd generation or here for at least 10 years d.The Middle East – South Mediterranean/North African e.Persia/Iran Timing: Start: 2 days per week – Tuesday & Thursday - and determine compatibility oHours Initial trial: :Start 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm oOnce determined 4 days/week – Monday – Thursday – 6 hours/day TBD oMust identify back up candidates in case one does not work I am mobile and spend most of my day in my home office Duties will include oPreparation of meds oCooking – Must know Euro cuisine or know how to learn it – Google & YouTube recipes oTidying up as needed – I like an organized and clean space – Vacuum, keep place tidy Capabilities Has/Can  Skills CPR First Aid Required Access to vehicle Drivers license Can Provide Background Check Prepare medication Dressing & wounds - Occasional Errands Groceries Has own vehicle Home care Housekeeping Laundry Could be needed Companion Non-sterile simple dressings Nursing care Not needed 4 now Bathing Bowel care Hospice Intellectual disability Mental health Please visit https://eldercare.com/jobs/experienced-elder-care-provider-needed-in-markham-ontario-20hour-job-on to view full details and to apply.
