Job description
Become a vital part of patient care as a Primary Care Paramedic with Superior North EMS in Thunder Bay. This role prioritizes patient assessment and treatment while ensuring safe transport in emergency situations.

As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will work under the Superintendent of EMS Operations. Your key responsibilities will include conducting patient evaluations, administering care according to established health standards, and participating in public education programs. You will also need to maintain equipment and communication with Central Ambulance Communication Centres, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to ambulance calls and report movements • Assess patient conditions and environment for safety • Administer care per Basic and Advanced Life Support standards • Maintain and restock medical equipment and supplies • Document reports according to Ontario standards

Requirements: • Valid Ontario Class “F” driver’s licence • Completed mandatory training per Ministry of Health • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills • Competent driver as defined by the Corporation • Authorized by the pre-hospital care program
