Job description
Guide the Town of Whitby, Ontario, as the Director of Technology and Innovation Services to spearhead digital transformation and technology solutions. Shape the tech landscape in a community poised for growth. In this strategic role, reporting to the Head of Organizational Effectiveness, you will manage all aspects of the Technology and Innovation Services division. Candidates must possess at least fifteen years of enterprise technology experience and seven to ten years in senior leadership roles within public organizations, focusing on cybersecurity and effective digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic leadership for technology operations • Oversee client services, infrastructure, and digital security • Direct the execution of digital transformation projects • Implement and manage enterprise systems like Workday • Balance stakeholder demands with strategic technology initiatives Requirements: • Degree in Computer Science or related related field • Minimum of 15 years in technology environments • 7-10 years in senior leadership roles in public service • PMP and Lean certifications are advantages • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and teams Empower Whitby with innovative technology solutions and lead impactful digital transformations in this vital role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
