Job descriptionLow Voltage Project Manager • Halifax, CA The Role: You are the single point of accountability for delivery on assigned communications projects. You set the plan, run the coordination, control the money, and own the client relationship. You translate the estimator's handoff into a buildable project, keep field teams supplied and unblocked, and close the job cleanly — test reports signed, as-builts clean, manufacturer warranties registered, and the client ready to hire us again.

Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
Qualifications
5+ years managing communications, low-voltage, or structured-cabling construction projects
Working knowledge of structured cabling (copper and fiber), testing and certification workflows, and common system categories - security/access control, CCTV, AV, DAS, PA, paging/intercom, nurse call
Ability to read drawings, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, and contract documents
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and subcontractor coordination
Strong written and verbal communication with clients, consultants, and field teams
Proficient with MS Office, scheduling tools (MS Project, P6, or similar), and PM platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent)
Strong Assets
BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
BICSI Technician or Installer designation
Manufacturer certifications - Communication scope, Belden, Panduit, Corning, Leviton, or equivalent
PMP or CAPM
Experience across commercial, institutional, and industrial
Electrical construction background or comfort coordinating with an electrical PM team
