About CBI Health’s Community Rehabilitation Services Working in communities across Ontario, our Community Rehabilitation Services team treats clients who’ve experienced mental stress injuries, focusing on a return to pre-accident function.
In our Traumatic Psychological Injury program, Occupational Therapists work with clients such as first responders who’ve experienced trauma in the workplace. They have the opportunity to conduct in‑vivo exposure therapy and behavioural activation, and facilitate trauma processing, coping and return to function. Our innovative approach to evidence-based care incorporates novel interventions like virtual reality to promote industry-leading mental health outcomes. Wage range:
$42.00–$54.00 per hour

What You Need To Be Successful
Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
A valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (travel up to 1‑1.5 hours radius)
Willingness to provide in‑vivo OT treatment in a variety of settings, including client’s homes, workplaces, and/or in the community
Passion about your profession, commitment to ongoing professional development, and dedication to providing excelled client care
The ability to thrive in a self‑directed and independent environment
Strong organizational skills
Strong critical thinking, decision‑making, and analytic skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Empathy and an effective ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
Experience in the private sector, particularly auto sector legislation and mental health, is an asset
New grads and experienced OTs transitioning from other areas of practice are encouraged to apply!
