Job description
Become a Project Buyer with Ledcor in Logan Lake, BC, ensuring the effective procurement of materials and services for major construction projects. Engage closely with project teams in this proactive site role.

As the Project Buyer, you'll report to the Supervisor of Procurement and leverage minimum five years of on-site experience in industrial construction. Your role involves making strategic purchasing decisions, maintaining supplier relations, and complying with company standards while actively preventing delays in materials procurement.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage procurement from end to end according to project plans • Optimize purchasing through balance of cost and quality • Collaborate with shared teams for effective procurement • Identify risks to supply chains proactively • Create accurate purchase orders to meet project needs

Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years on-site procurement experience • Solid background in large-scale industrial projects • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities • Experience with procurement systems and Microsoft Office • Capacity to handle urgent and competing requests effectively
