Responsibilities The Window Administrator serves as a subject matter expert on Gentek’s window and door product offerings, as well as industry terminology. This role acts as a trusted resource for customers, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient support for all quotations and order processing activities. Specifically, you will:

Quote & Order Processing

Prepare and process accurate, timely quotations for windows and doors for lumberyards and contractors.

Enter and manage customer orders using Gentek systems (e.g., BAP, Windows Express).

Monitor order status and proactively communicate product availability and delivery timelines to customers.

Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including the ability to identify and differentiate between various window and door types.

Accurately interpret measurements, hand‑holding, and finish specifications.

Distinguish between standard and custom order configurations.

Apply product compatibility rules to ensure all orders are valid and buildable.

Customer Service

Professionally greet and assist customers in person and over the phone.

Respond to inquiries regarding Gentek’s window and door products and related services.

Provide alternative solutions when requested products are unavailable.

Analyze order and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; post‑secondary education considered an asset.

Experience in windows and doors and/or the ability to read blueprints is an asset.

Previous experience in the building or construction industry preferred; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Strong literacy and numeracy skills, including the ability to interpret alphanumeric sequences.

Proficient in computer systems and order entry platforms.
