Job descriptionWhat is the opportunity?
RBC Capital Markets' Global Marketing team is seeking a creative and passionate Graphic Designer to join our design team. Reporting to the Global Lead of Design and Branding, you will help own the visual identity and design excellence across client‑facing and internal marketing, bridging creative strategy and execution. What will you do?
You will own the full design lifecycle for assigned campaigns and initiatives. This means you will work from initial brief through concepting and iteration, make informed decisions about design direction, implement feedback, and see projects through to production and delivery. You will manage vendor relationships, coordinate with print and facilities teams, and ensure quality at every stage. Under the guidance of the Global Lead of Design and Branding, you will be the design authority on your projects, accountable for both the creative vision and practical delivery. Core responsibilities include:
Creating graphic design assets for digital and print channels, including web and social media assets, event signage, email communications, animations, sponsorship advertisements, brochures, flyers, and promotional materials. Translating brand strategy and design systems into cohesive, on‑brand work; maintaining RBC's visual standards across all touchpoints and establishing reusable templates and image libraries. Collaborating with cross‑functional partners in Digital & Social Media, Content Strategy & Insight, and Regional Business Marketing Teams to understand business objectives, pitch ideas, incorporate feedback, and defend design decisions. Managing vendor relationships and production logistics for print and digital distribution, overseeing installation and lifecycle management of signage and ensuring proper setup, placement, and takedown. What do you need to succeed?
5+ years of professional design experience in a marketing, agency, or corporate environment. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Suite. A sharp eye for composition, typography, and photography, paired with meticulous attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. A bachelor’s degree in arts, design, or a related field. What’s in it for you?
Comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses, flexible benefits, and competitive compensation. Leaders who support your development through coaching and management opportunities. Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high‑performing team. Opportunities to do challenging work. Flexible work/life balance options. Job Skills
