We are in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer ( XR / VR / AR ) who understands Unity and Unreal , who would like to get into a globally prominent project in Canada.

Key Responsibilities :
- Interact with product management in order to gather business needs.
- Coordinate with other engineering teams to improve unit testing and overall development product quality.
- Formulate and develop test procedures and documentation for the devised tests.
- Write client-specific test boundaries.
- Perform testing with the aim to get rid of as many bugs as possible.
- Create automated tests for different layers in the software.
- Maintain an issue log and track the progress of resolutions and retests.
- Inform the product development team about the quality and performance of the developed software.
- Highlight best practices and upcoming changes in the testing tools and frameworks.
Required skills :
- 5-7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including testing Unity or Unreal Engine .
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python .
- Experience with AEC and CAD software like Revit or Navisworks .
- Expertise in performance profiling for real-time applications
- Experience in manual and automated testing for web / cloud-based solutions
- Familiarity with varied test frameworks across different languages
- Enthusiastic about extended or mixed reality ( XR, VR, AR )
- Solid knowledge of current software testing trends, including TDD and BDD
- Proven experience in designing test processes around the bug lifecycle
- Strong interest in addressing testing challenges in graphics and multi-user environments
- Data-driven mindset, using quantitative evidence to back your solutions
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Creative ideas for testing games and applications without traditional user interfaces
- Experience with load, stress, and performance testing on a network
- Background in creating custom testing frameworks.
