Job descriptionA successful, women-led commercial interior design firm in central Ottawa is seeking an experienced Office Manager to serve as the central point of coordination in their high-volume, collaborative office. The Opportunity This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in creating structure and efficiency. Working closely with leadership and the broader team, you will support day-to-day operations by drafting proposals, managing timesheets and expenses, coordinating with the bookkeeper, following up on receivables, and maintaining key tracking documents, including project lists, proposal logs, and banking records. You will also coordinate insurance renewals, schedule vendors and external representatives, and take responsibility for ensuring the overall organization and smooth functioning of the office.
With a consistent schedule of approximately 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility), this position offers an excellent opportunity to achieve improved work-life balance while contributing meaningfully in a dynamic professional setting.

Candidates must have prior administrative or office management experience, with exposure to commercial property management, interior design, construction, or project management environments considered a strong asset. Strong computer skills and experience supporting basic accounting coordination are also preferred.
