Overview The successful candidate will work across multiple 1:1 channels to create best-in-class marketing solutions. These channels include eCRM, direct mail, as well as select social and print initiatives.
The candidate will primarily work on a major telecommunications brand with high-volume, performance-driven communications within a vibrant, collaborative and fast-paced agency environment.
Roles and Responsibilities Works in partnership with an Art Director to develop creative concepts and write impactful copy for marketing materials and campaigns. Should have a strong understanding of the 1:1 marketing landscape, including how data intelligence can be leveraged to solve communication challenges. Must be able to create, present, and sell ideas effectively.
Responsibilities
Applies a strategic mindset to evaluate briefs and uncover deeper opportunities
Develops holistic, customer-centric solutions that connect messaging across channels and throughout the customer journey
Adapts quickly to shifting priorities, stakeholder feedback, and evolving requirements
Collaborates closely with Account Management, Strategy, Project Management, Design, and other cross-functional teams
Manages multiple projects and tight timelines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
Demonstrates strong attention to detail, ensuring copy accurately reflects the nuances of each brief and version
Qualifications
4+ years of agency or related industry experience
Strong knowledge of CRM strategy and customer‑centric communications
Understanding of best practices across email, direct mail, and social channels
Excellent writing, spelling, grammar, editing, and presentation skills
Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to balance creativity and strategy in a performance-driven environment
Highly collaborative, accountable and self‑motivated, with a strong work ethic
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and other relevant applications
Prior experience writing in Figma or willingness to quickly learn new applications
Degree in Advertising, English or a related field
Telecommunications (telco) industry experience is a strong asset, but not a must‑have
Additional Information Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD $75,000 - CAD $85,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
