Job description
The Cape Breton Eagles are a team within the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), a chapter of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). Based on Cape Breton Island, the team operates from Centre 200 and is known for its loyal and passionate fan base. The Eagles take pride in their legacy of developing talented players, many of whom, such as Marc-Andre Fleury and Pierre-Luc Dubois, have excelled in the NHL. As a cornerstone of the local community, the Eagles continue to represent excellence in hockey and inspire fans across the region.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The Corporate Sales Manager will drive revenue by managing relationships with key clients, generating leads, promoting partnership opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining corporate sponsorships, achieving sales targets, executing sales strategies, and overseeing sales operations to support the organization’s growth. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored, high-quality experiences to corporate partners.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in Account Management and maintaining client relationships

Strong skills in Lead Generation and identifying new partnership opportunities

Track record of success in Sales and achieving revenue targets

Experience in Customer Service and delivering exceptional client experiences

Proficiency in Sales Operations, including planning and executing effective sales strategies

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment

Relevant experience in sports or entertainment industries is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
