Job Description Salesforce Chapter Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Salesforce Chapter Lead to spearhead our digital marketing automation efforts. In this role, you will act as the technical subject matter expert and people leader, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of complex multi‑channel customer journeys. You will lead a team of specialists to deliver high‑impact personalization strategies that bridge the gap between marketing objectives and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of SFMC specialists. Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the team stays current with Salesforce releases and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between Marketing, IT, and Analytics teams. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, assess efforts and delivery timelines based on priority and capacity.
Hands‑on Development: Serve as the final point of escalation for technical challenges. Write and review advanced AMPscript, SSJS (Server‑Side JavaScript), and SQL to power dynamic content and sophisticated audience segmentation.
Solution Design: Support end‑to‑end solutions within SFMC, including data schema design, API integrations, and advanced automation workflows.
Journey Strategy: Architect complex, multi‑touch customer journeys using Journey Builder, ensuring seamless integration across Email, SMS, Push, and Advertising Studio.
Operational Excellence: Define and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for campaign deployment, QA processes, and A/B testing frameworks to ensure zero‑error execution.
Qualifications
SFMC Expertise: Deep hands‑on experience with Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Audience Builder.
Technical Proficiency: Expert‑level knowledge of SQL (for data views and segmentation) and AMPscript (for advanced personalization). Experience with SSJS and HTML/CSS for email is highly preferred.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to design lifecycle marketing programs (acquisition, onboarding, retention, and win‑back).
Leadership: Experience managing direct reports or leading project workstreams in an agile environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with at least 1‑2 years in a leadership or senior‑level capacity. Experience in Telecommunications and Agile organizations is an asset.

Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer
Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator
