As part of the Talent and Culture Vice Presidency (VPTC), the Practice Lead will orchestrate the HR AI ambition and maximize business value creation across the organization.
The role is part of establishing the AI Innovation Hub, whose mandate is to bring AI to life, scale its impact, and elevate its contribution to talent, culture, and the human experience.
Responsibilities
Defining, leading, and evolving the VPTC AI strategy and roadmap (vision, priorities, and portfolio of use cases).
Ensuring HR AI governance in alignment with the corporate AI@iA framework, in partnership with VPTC Systems teams and the IT Delivery Tower.
Supporting teams and senior leadership in the identification, prioritization, and industrialization of high–business-value HR AI use cases.
Acting as a strategic partner to HR leaders to support decision‑making and trade‑offs related to AI initiatives.
Promoting a pragmatic, value‑driven approach focused on proof of value, adoption, and sustainable impact, while avoiding proof‑of‑concept initiatives without tangible outcomes.
Conducting strategic and technology watch on AI, talent analytics, automation, and productivity tools.
Translating emerging trends into actionable opportunities for the VPTC and the broader organization.
Leading and providing functional leadership to the Digital Allies network, supporting engagement and capability development.
Contributing to AI literacy, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of best practices through communities, workshops, and events.
Qualifications
Senior‑level experience in organizational transformation, innovation, strategy, or consulting—ideally in HR, digital, or technology‑driven environments.
Strong understanding of AI, including generative AI, automation (low‑code / no‑code), assistants and agents, and their applications in HR.
Recognized ability to connect technology with business value, using a pragmatic, results‑oriented approach.
Excellent strategic thinking, structuring, and simplification skills.
Influential leadership and ability to mobilize multiple stakeholders without formal authority.
Strong relationship‑building, communication, and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.
Experience managing complex initiative portfolios and working in matrixed or large organizational environments (an asset).
Intermediate level of English proficiency
is required for daily conversations with unilingual English‑speaking colleagues and partners, and for producing business documents such as deliverables, presentations, and written communications with subsidiaries in the United States and Canada.
