Position Summary: The Account Manager, Smart Water Solutions and Services position will be overseen and report to the Director of Sales for the specific region, but functions autonomously in the promotion, sale, application, and problem solving required in all aspects of Smart Water Metering. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to coach the entire sales channel through the sales process at all levels within the utility/municipality.

General Responsibilities:
Develop full comprehension of KTI and Sensus corporate objectives.
Set-up/Demonstrate products:
Meters
Reading Equipment
Software
Provide detailed documentation on products/services as needed during sales process.
Deliver high level or detailed Meter presentations effectively.
Produce and Deliver material and Presentations for high/low level meetings.
Provide support and detailed content to Regional Manager/Distributor for RFP/RFI opportunities.
Present case studies and market/product information in Regional/National Industry Conferences.
Provide pricing, lead time and delivery information to customers with assistance from Inside Sales group.
Understand and sell against competitive offerings
Schedule regular customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction, explore new opportunities and off value-added solutions
Collect and distribute customer reference lists
Gathering data for our CRM system so we keep track and keep deliver the best solutions to our customers
Handling of orders and securing delivery specifications and deadlines
Support customer workflow through documents for shipping, tracking and invoicing
Daily communication with client companies, account executives, and operations staff
Self-motivated, results-orientated individual with high degree of energy and competitiveness balanced with integrity and a personable demeanor
Demonstrate an ability to inspire confidence and work collaboratively with team members, management, and peers
Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
Education and Experience:
> 2-5 years sales experience, Smart Grid preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or Technical Field
Ability to identify customer needs and relate them accurately to service products’ capabilities
Proven track record of setting and meeting demanding sales objectives
OTE potential can be up to $150,000
