Job description
Become a Case Manager with the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia in Dartmouth, NS. In this vital role, you'll assess worker needs and facilitate their return to work safely.

This position involves managing a diverse caseload while coordinating vocational rehabilitation services. You’ll lead the development of goal-oriented return-to-work plans and liaise with employers, healthcare providers, and unions. Your impact will extend to understanding benefit provisions and ensuring timely access to necessary services for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities: • Assess individual workers' needs for case management • Develop and lead return-to-work plans with stakeholders • Coordinate vocational rehabilitation services and job search • Prepare plain language decisions on benefits eligibility • Manage caseloads while adhering to procedures

Requirements: • University degree in healthcare, education, or social sciences • 4 years of experience in complex case management • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and relationship management
