Vice President, Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Job Description

Citi – Fixed Income technology is seeking a highly motivated candidate for their Infrastructure Service Delivery position. The Infra Lead will act as the primary support services liaison between development, Citi infrastructure, SA, DBA and Production support. The person will be responsible for Infra related activities that include server builds, database builds and configuration. Driving decision related to Strategic migrations and setup. Candidate will be responsible for provisioning and configuring new Infra requests for the multiple applications. The candidate should have experience talking to multiple application stakeholders and coordinating multiple tasks at the same time and should be willing to perform deep dive investigating to understand existing architecture to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities

• Review of application architecture and Infrastructure hardware requirement with development teams.
• Develop strategies to meet Fixed Income Tech Mandatory commitments demonstrate in-depth understanding of how Technology Infrastructure integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives
• Infrastructure Capacity Planning on annual and ad-hoc basis.
• Work with Infra teams to lead app dev teams; prioritizing, simplifying and de‑mystifying processes to make managing/upgrading infra estate an easier process.
• Have interest / skills in using automation and evolving AI tech to deliver EOVS upgrades solutions
• Provide services by using insights from stakeholder/partner relationships, actively seeking information to understand issues, expectations and needs
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
• Understand infrastructure financials and how it will impact budgets in long run

Qualifications

• 10+ Years of Experience in a technology infrastructure role with experience in people and project management and selected infrastructure technologies
• Experience in financial services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to communicate technical concepts to a non‑technical audience
• Proven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and identification of best practices
• Proven analytical, diagnostic and multitasking skills with focus on execution and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to both work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high‑pressure matrix environment
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of various parts of a project/initiative with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation/ requirements

Technical Qualifications

• Experience working with all storage solutions like NAS, SAN, S3.
• Knowledge of Virtual IP, Load Balancers and Firewalls.
• Experienced in platform migration and upgrade activities. Ex. OS and DB migration activities (Unix and Windows)
• Working knowledge of Certificates, SSL, Connectivity, SSH, SFTP, Firewall and ports
• Good to have experience in building and consuming API. Working knowledge of CICD tools like Jenkins/ Udeploy.
• Good to know SQL database and writing SQL script and procedures, Reporting Tools.

Education

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
