Job description
Join an innovative team in Pickering, England, as a Manufacturing Engineer. This role focuses on improving composite manufacturing processes in the aerospace and defence sectors. We seek a driven Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our advanced composites manufacturing environment. You will work hands-on at the intersection of engineering and production, optimizing composite components for maximum efficiency. Your role will be crucial in supporting production readiness and ensuring quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools • Lead root cause corrective action activities • Support first-off builds and production readiness • Develop job cards and work instructions • Collaborate with engineers on tooling and materials selection Requirements: • Proven experience in composite manufacturing • Knowledge of Vacuum Infused Resin Transfer Moulding • Experience with multiple manufacturing processes • Strong skills in engineering drawings analysis • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship Impact the future of manufacturing within an inclusive culture focused on innovation and quality. #J-18808-Ljbffr
