About The Role Reporting to the Manager, Identity Services, the Senior Business Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Identity Services team. This position works with internal and external teams across the province to ensure the services we provide fit with the overall strategic direction of eHealth and meet or exceed business requirements. It will lead projects, improvement initiatives, roadmap items, and business cases in collaboration with eHealth and its partners.
Responsibilities
Lead initiatives by gathering, validating, and managing technical business requirements.
Drive large projects, including documentation, implementation planning, execution, incident management, and ongoing support.
Act as a technically skilled senior business analyst with broad knowledge and experience, able to translate technical issues into clear business needs.
Quickly understand technical details, their interdependencies, and the impact of solutions within the target environment.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
A post‑secondary degree or diploma in computer science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum five years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an integrated IT environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and platforms, including Active Directory, Single Sign‑On (SSO), and Microsoft Entra ID.
Experience managing projects or initiatives in a technology‑driven environment with hands‑on experience creating and executing test plans.
A proven track record of group facilitation.
Strong interpersonal skills to lead, develop, and manage working relationships with stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills to present ideas and recommendations to clinical and IT professionals.
Proven documentation skills to coordinate development of project related artifacts including but not limited to architectural diagrams, proposals, charters, business requirements, and schedules.
IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) Gold Level is considered an asset.
