Job description
Pursue meaningful work with UGM as a Senior Accountant, focusing on accurate financial reporting and compliance. Leverage your expertise in a full-time role supporting mission-driven goals.

The Senior Accountant position at UGM involves overseeing the full accounting cycle and period-end closings. Reporting directly to the Controller, you'll prepare financial statements for four legal entities and enhance internal controls. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures precise transaction recording and supports financial forecasting.

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings • Manage fixed assets and project costing effectively • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions • Assist with year-end external audit preparations • Maintain Oracle NetSuite financial system efficiently

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field • CPA designation completed or in progress • 4+ years of full accounting cycle experience • Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or equivalent ERP
