Job description
Join the Government of Alberta as a Support and Financial Services Coordinator, enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable populations across various locations. Your expertise in client interactions and financial support will drive success.

As part of the Assisted Living and Community and Social Services, this role focuses on determining eligibility for financial benefits. You will directly assist clients in developing their action plans while navigating complex client needs. Effective active listening and conflict resolution skills will be critical in this supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Assess client needs and provide solutions regularly • Inform clients about their rights and benefits • Facilitate access to employment and community resources • Work collaboratively to resolve client issues

Requirements: • Two-year diploma or degree in a relevant field • Equivalency accepted for education and experience • Experience working with diverse populations • Customer service experience is necessary • Ability to use multiple computer systems effectively
