Construction General Labourer

Location: Projects from Chilliwack to Vancouver (primarily east of Port Mann Bridge)

Schedule: Full-time (site-based)

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Construction General Labourer to support an active civil construction crew working across the Lower Mainland. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with construction experience who enjoys outdoor work, physical activity, and being part of a collaborative team. You’ll assist with site preparation and gain exposure to advanced techniques such as laser leveling.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, including digging, leveling, and site cleanup
• Shovel, rake, and move dirt, gravel, and construction materials
• Dig holes and install gravel, rubber, and turf
• Operate hand tools and small equipment (., tampers)
• Work safely around heavy civil construction equipment
• Follow direction from supervisors while demonstrating initiative
• Support and learn advanced tasks such as laser leveling
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite

What You Bring

• 1+ year of construction experience
• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel to job sites (including Chilliwack)
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team mindset
• Familiarity with PPE and job site safety practices
• Ability to pass a government check

Nice-to-Have (Assets)

• Experience in civil construction
• Experience as a skilled labourer
