• Continuous Provision and play-based practice: we are a Continuous Provision school. We believe deep learning happens through purposeful play, high-quality provision and adult-led teaching that follows children’s interests.

• Strong EYFS to KS1 transition: we value EYFS approaches and expect KS1 teachers to skilfully blend play-led learning with the national curriculum to secure children’s progression and knowledge.

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS class teacher who:

• Is passionate about teaching through play and continuous provision, and can bring high expectations to a learning environment where children explore, talk and develop deep understanding.

• Has secure EYFS knowledge and experience of planning sequenced learning that bridges EYFS and KS1 outcomes.

• Is skilled in meeting the needs of diverse learners (EAL, SEND, disadvantaged) and uses inclusive pedagogy so every child makes strong progress.

• Values strong partnerships with parents/carers and contributes to our nurturing, community focussed ethos.
