Position Summary The Program Manager, Solutions Lab is responsible for leading specialized initiatives, pilots, and strategic portfolios focused on Future of Care and innovation, with a strong emphasis on the design, testing, and scaling of Clinical AI and innovative transformation solutions. This role operates in a high‑impact, cross‑functional environment focused on innovation, system transformation, and enterprise‑wide strategic priorities. The Manager will lead initiatives that span the full innovation lifecycle, from problem definition and workflow mapping to sandbox testing, pilot implementation, evaluation, and scale‑up. The role requires a clinically grounded innovation leader with strong capabilities in applied AI, human‑centered design, and implementation. The individual will work closely with clinical, operational, and digital teams to ensure solutions are practical, safe, scalable, and aligned with enterprise priorities, including privacy, security, and ethical AI use.
Position Responsibilities Strategic Initiative & Portfolio Leadership
Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of Future of Care and Clinical AI initiatives, including sandbox testing, pilot execution, and scale‑up.
Translate high‑level strategy into actionable workplans focused on:
Clinical AI solution design and implementation
Workflow redesign and care model innovation
Innovative transformation initiatives across clinical and operational settings
Develop business cases, briefing materials, and executive updates.
Ensure initiatives align with enterprise priorities, including:
Clinical quality and safety
Transformation roadmap
Privacy, security, and responsible AI frameworks
Identify opportunities for scaling, sustainability, and integration of successful pilots across the organization and the potential to influence the broader eco‑system.
Cross-Functional & Matrix Leadership
Coordinate work across clinical, operational, digital, privacy, and IT teams to design and implement innovation initiatives.
Facilitate clinical workflow mapping and redesign sessions, ensuring solutions are grounded in real‑world practice.
Lead matrix teams without formal authority, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and execution.
Build alignment across stakeholders to advance AI‑enabled clinical solutions and care transformation initiatives.
Support organizational readiness, including:
AI literacy and adoption
Change management and clinician engagement
Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities while maintaining forward momentum.
External Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement
Develop and manage partnerships with:
AI and digital health vendors
Academic and research institutions
Innovation and health technology partners
Support co‑design and co‑development of Clinical AI solutions.
Represent SE Health in external forums related to:
Clinical AI
Digital health innovation
Future of Care
Monitor emerging trends, evidence, and best practices in applied AI and healthcare innovation.
Innovation, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Design and execute sandbox environments and pilot testing frameworks for Clinical AI solutions.
Develop evaluation frameworks, success metrics, and dashboards focused on:
Clinical outcomes
Workflow efficiency
User adoption and experience
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision‑making and scale‑up strategies.
Identify lessons learned and recommend adaptations to improve effectiveness and scalability.
Contribute to knowledge translation and internal dissemination of innovation learnings.
Integrate considerations related to:
Alignment with enterprise digital transformation initiatives
Sustainability and responsible resource use (where applicable)
Qualifications Education
Master’s degree required, preferably in:
Health Informatics (with specialization in applied AI in clinical practice)
Clinical Masters, Health Administration, Public Health, or related field
Equivalent combination of education and advanced applied experience may be considered.
Experience & Capability Profile
3–4 years of relevant experience in:
Clinical environments (e.g., nursing, allied health, or related)
Innovation, digital health, or transformation initiatives
Demonstrated experience in:
Applied AI in healthcare settings
Cross‑functional collaboration across clinical, operational, and digital teams
Demonstrated ability to:
Lead initiatives independently in ambiguous and evolving environments
Engage senior stakeholders and external partners
Translate complex concepts into actionable solutions
