As a member of an interprofessional team, you will provide client‑centred psychiatric, addiction and general nursing care, ensuring the security and safety of the patients while maintaining the CNO standards of nursing practice. You will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients on the inpatient mental health units, which includes the General unit and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Working within a primary nursing model, you will actively contribute to the treatment approach for the unit, perform assessments, develop, implement and evaluate the interprofessional plan of client care.
The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and C.U.P.E Local 6364. Successful external applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six months.
