Job description
Provide advanced emergency medical care as a part-time Primary Care Paramedic with Oneida Paramedic Services. Engage patients, conduct assessments, and ensure safe transportation to healthcare facilities.

This role demands current qualifications as a Primary Care Paramedic as per the Ambulance Act of Ontario. You'll employ skills such as patient assessment, basic and advanced life support, and effective communication. Ideal candidates have experience in emergency medical services and can perform well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct patient assessments and evaluations upon arrival • Administer basic and advanced patient care as needed • Ensure safe transport of patients to healthcare facilities • Communicate effectively with medical staff during handover • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of ambulance equipment

Requirements: • Current PCP certification as per Ontario standards • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent • Valid Ontario Class F Driver’s License • Certification in CPR at Basic Rescuer level • Successful completion of mandatory training programs
