Job description
Job Summary

Health Shared Services (HSS) is seeking a Clinical Operational Readiness (CORe) Lead to join the Clinical Operations Informatics Office (COIO) within Digital Health. The role will lead the design and implementation of operational workflows and change management for Healthy Planet and Cheers applications, which support care across Alberta’s continuum. Key Responsibilities

Lead the ongoing design, implementation, and evaluation of Healthy Planet and Cheers workflows across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Provide strategic informatics leadership for enterprise initiatives, ensuring digital systems are optimized, safe, and operationally effective. Coaching, mentoring, and developing direct reports to build subject‑matter expertise and change‑leadership capability. Coordinate closely with clinical, operational, and Digital Health teams to standardize workflows and maintain governance and safety oversight. Ensure alignment with Connect Care, Alberta’s provincial electronic health record, and facilitate system integration. Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of progressive responsibility leading organizational change for complex programs or organizations. Proven track record in leading large‑scale transformational initiatives. Experience managing teams, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and structured evaluation approaches. Specialized experience in project management, workflow design, and process improvement. Certifications related to leadership, management, or change management (e.g., PROSCI) are desirable. Excellent communication, facilitation, and consensus‑building skills. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in a health‑related field. Professional background in Clinical Informatics. Experience with Epic across various clinical contexts. Experience preparing executive‑level briefing materials and decision documents. Job Details

Classification: Lead Unit and Program: Clinical Operations Informatics Office Primary Location: Quarry Crossing; eligible to work remotely within Alberta. Posting End Date: 19‑MAY‑2026 Salary: $45.23 – $77.51 per hour Employment Class: Regular Full Time, FTE 1.00 Working Hours: 7.75 hrs/shift, 2‑week cycle, 10 shifts per cycle, days shift pattern, Saturday/Sunday off Additional Information

This leadership role is exempt from union representation and offers a standard full‑time contract within the Digital Health municipal framework.
