Job description
Elevate payroll management at the County of Lambton as a full-time Payroll Supervisor. Lead payroll operations, ensuring legislative compliance and efficient team collaboration.

In this essential role, the Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing payroll and accounts payable functions, handling audits, system maintenance, and employee training. You will work closely with the Finance and HR teams to facilitate seamless financial operations, uphold policy adherence, and foster a positive team environment. Leveraging five years of payroll experience will be key to navigating this demanding position effectively.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee payroll processing and manage system functionalities • Supervise the processing of numerous invoices weekly • Ensure correct implementation of payroll policies • Provide training and support for payroll team members • Analyze and report on payroll and absence data

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field • Minimum five years in payroll management • Certified Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) holder • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel • Familiarity with public sector collective agreements
