Job description
Join Eureka! as the Assistant Director, where you’ll gain essential skills alongside the Director in preparation for the future leadership role. This position includes part-time duties during the academic year and full-time supervision in summer.

In the role of Assistant Director, you’ll work with the Director to oversee grant writing, staff scheduling, and programming from January to April. Your full-time responsibilities from May to August will include managing staff, curriculum development, and resolving camper issues, in addition to leading workshops and camps.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in writing grant applications and proposals • Schedule and coordinate workshops effectively • Supervise staff and manage administrative aspects • Oversee the development of the summer curriculum • Provide problem-solving support for parents and campers

Requirements: • Previous experience with children in camps or education • Enrollment in a 4-year program at TRU • Proficiency in communication and management skills • Ability with word processing and data handling • Willingness to adapt hours to university schedules
