Manager, Student Success
– Regular, Full-time Summary of Duties: Provides strategic leadership for a student-centred environment that promotes accessibility, wellness, and student success across the full student journey. Oversees Student Success operations by leading staff and faculty, ensuring effective service delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement of programs and advising services. Collaborates with senior leadership to set priorities and direction, while developing and monitoring frameworks for mental health, accessibility, and student support. Dries the development of inclusive, high-quality programs and policies that enhance student retention, engagement, and academic success. Builds partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensures equitable and culturally responsive services, and represents the institution in committees and external relations. Also holds responsibility for staff performance management, policy leadership, and financial oversight of the Student Success portfolio. Master's Degree in a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in management or leadership in student services within a post-secondary and/or public sector environment. Extensive knowledge of college governance procedures, academic rules, regulations, and requirements as set out in the College's policies and procedures, including the College and Institute Act. Experience working with marginalized and/or multi-barriered individuals. Demonstrated success providing service based on a broad knowledge of best practices and issues relevant to the provision of student services. Experience with the development and administration of budgets. Experience in developing/managing mental wellbeing frameworks Mental Health First Aid certification Closing Date: May 29, 2026. Preferred Start Date: July 2, 2026. Salary: The starting annual salary is $94,443 to $125,924 for this Management Group position. Management Group employees are eligible for annual salary increases within and above the starting range through demonstrated performance.
